Kotpad sarees bring the best of colours narrating the stories of natural hues. This piece of handloom is of yellow and blue and red colors giving a very vibrant vibes. The borders begin with a thin yellow line and then with red borders with blue shades creating a purple illusion. The blue part of the saree is the most attractive part with fish motifs. The middle part of the saree is of yellow shade with little turtle motifs. The saree has vertical lines giving it an elegant look.

KOTPAD sarees originated from the town of Koraput town named “kotpad”. The “MIRGAN” group are a dedicated to produce unique vegetable dyed fabric. This is the first product from Odisha to receive the Geographical Indication tag. This highly fancy and unique process takes around 30-35 days and this is a living relic of the traditional Odisha

Origin of Kotpad Handloom Saree:

The handloom of Kotpad is titled on the basis of the village called Kotpad in Koraput District of Odisha. These handlooms are vegetable dyed-fabrics woven by the Mirgan Community of the Kotpad village.

The speciality of these sarees lies in the fact that it has been prepared out of natural resources which are not at all toxic & harmful and hence it is beneficial for the skin. The natural dye is produced from the Aul tree grown in this area.  

The motifs woven on the body and anchal (pallu) somehow reflects the culture of that area. These motifs are woven by the intricate extra weft technique.

GI Tag :

Kotpad Handlooms were the first handlooms to get a GI (geographical Indication tag) from Odisha in the year 2005.

• Zero Cost EMI Offer is applicable for Tenure of 2-3 months for minimum cart value of Rs 10,000 and above.
• You need to make a payment of 40% of the order value to avail EMI. Rest 60% will be equally divided as per the tenure availed.
• EMI cycle cannot be extended, however one can close the EMI prior to the defined months by paying off the total outstanding amount.
• Orders will be delivered post completion of the EMI.
• Orders cannot be cancelled or exchanged once EMI option is availed.
• First installment of the EMI will be started 30 days from the date of order placed.

Interest & Penalties:

Return Policy

You have 2 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

Return will be processed only in case of a damaged product. Customer needs to mail us with clear pictures in such a case. However, minor imperfections are a part of handmade products, hence they can not be returned.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.
